Alesse - Aygestin (Generic) , Alesse birth control pills are a combination estrogen (ethinyl estradiol) and progesterone (levonorgestrel) pill. They function by preventing the release of an egg from the ovaries. Additionally, they change the cervical mucus and uterine lining to make it harder for the sperm to reach an egg, should one be released.
Aygestin - Aygestin is used for: Treating certain menstrual problems or uterine problems (eg, abnormal bleeding, endometriosis). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Aygestin is a progestin hormone. It works by altering the lining of the uterus.
Clomid - Clomid (Generic) , Clomid is the most well-known fertility drug, probably because it is the most commonly used. And with good reason. About 25% of female factor infertility involves a problem with ovulation, and clomiphene citrate, as a fertility drug, is easy to use (taken as a pill, not an injection), with not too many side effects, is pretty inexpensive compared to other fertility drugs, and is effective in stimulating ovulation 80% of the time.
Danazol - Danazol (Generic) , This medication is a synthetic hormone. It is used to treat pain and infertility caused by endometriosis, a condition involving the tissue of the uterus. It is also used in the treatment of cysts or lumps in the breast or may be prescribed for heavy menstrual flow.
Duphaston - Duphaston® , Duphaston treats conditions where there is a lack of the female hormone progesterone. It is used for:
* restoring bleeding in the absence of menstrual periods
* controlling irregular bleeding which is due to hormonal imbalance
* the treatment of endometriosis, which is a disease where fragments of the lining of the womb grow outside the womb in
the pelvic cavity
* painful periods which do not have any specific cause such as fibroids or infection
* a supplement for menopausal women who are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), in which it helps to protect the womb.
Estrace (Generic) , Estradiol is a form of estrogen. Estrogen is a female hormone necessary for many processes in the body.
Estrace is used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation. Estrace is also used to prevent osteoporosis. Estrace is sometimes used as part of cancer treatment in women and men. It works by replacing natural estrogens in a woman who can no longer produce enough estrogen. It works for advanced prostate cancer by antagonizing male hormones.
Evecare - Evecare has a regularizing influence on the menstrual cycle by virtue of its uterine stimulant action. Evecare's stimulatory effect on the ovarian tissue helps regularizing endogenous hormonal secretion, enhances the repair of the endometrium and thus controls abnormal uterine bleeding. Evecare's anti-inflammatory action has a healing effect on the uterus and its antispasmodic action alleviates pain. The immunomodulatory and hematinic properties of Evecare are beneficial in anemia and the generalized weakness, associated with uterine disorders.
Evista (Generic) , EVISTA is indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis and for the reduction in risk of invasive breast cancer in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis.
If you already have or have had breast cancer, EVISTA does not treat it or prevent its return, and it does not reduce the risk of all forms of breast cancer.

Femara - Femara® (letrozole tablets) is approved for the adjuvant (following surgery) treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positive early stage breast cancer. The benefits of Femara in clinical trials are based on 24 months of treatment. Further follow-up will be needed to determine long-term results, safety and efficacy.
Femara is also approved for the extended adjuvant treatment of early stage breast cancer in postmenopausal women who are within three months of completion of five years of tamoxifen therapy. The benefits of Femara in clinical trials are based on 24 months of treatment. Further follow-up will be needed to determine long-term results, including side effects.

Femcare - Femcare (clotrimazole vaginal) is an antifungal medication. It prevents fungus from growing. Clotrimazole vaginal is used to treat vaginal candida (yeast) infections. Clotrimazole vaginal may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
Fosamax - Fosamax (Generic), Fosamax is in the group of medicines called bisphosphonates (bis FOS fo nayts). It alters the cycle of bone formation and breakdown in the body. Fosamax slows bone loss while increasing bone mass, which may prevent bone fractures.
Fosamax is used to treat or prevent postmenopausal osteoporosis and steroid-induced osteoporosis. It is also used to treat Pagets disease of bone.
Gestanin - Gestanin (Generic) , Gestanin (Allyloestrenol) is a progestogen structurally related to progesterone that has been given in threatened and habitual abortion, and to prevent premature labour. However, with the exception of proven progesterone deficiency, such use is no longer recommended.
Gyne-Lotrimin - Clotrimazole, the active ingredient in these medications, is used to treat fungal infections. In preparations for the skin, it is effective against ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. In vaginal creams and tablets, it is used against vaginal yeast infections. In lozenge form, it is prescribed to treat oral yeast infections and to prevent them in people with weak immune systems.
Levlen (Generic) , Levlen is an oral contraceptive that is generically prescribed as ethinyl estradiol levonorgestrel and is a hormonally based form of birth control. Levlen is used in the prevention of pregnancy.
Lynoral - Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) is used for oral contraceptive pill preparations where it is combined with a synthetic progesterone drug. It is a synthetic estrogen similar to the natural female sex hormone estradiol and ia also used as a natural estrogen supplement when the body's production is low, then it is used to control abnormal bleeding from the uterus, and to treat
delayed sexual development in females. Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol) In conjunction with cyproterone is used to treat severe acne in women. Certain cancers of the prostate respond to Lynoral (Ethinyl Estradiol).

Nolvadex (Generic) , This drug is used as a first line defense against breast cancer. In the late 80´s, Dan Duchaine speculated that it could also be used by bodybuilders to halt the development of another type of tumor in the mammary gland, Gynocomastia. Nolvadex is commonly referred to in quite a few ways: as a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator), as an anti-estrogen (that is actually incorrect, as we will later see), and finally as a triphenylethylene. Nolvadex actually has quite a few applications for the steroid using athlete. First and foremost, it´s most common use is for the prevention of gynocomastia. Nolvadex does this by actually competing for the receptor site in breast tissue, and binding to it. Thus, we can safely say that the effect of tamoxifen is through estrogen receptor blockade of breast tissue (1), especially since total body estradiol increases with use of tamoxifen. Clearly, if you are on a cycle which includes steroids which convert to estrogen, you may want to consider nolvadex as a good choice to run along side them.
Noroxin - Combined oral contraceptives like Norimin work by over-riding the normal menstrual cycle. In a woman's normal menstrual cycle, levels of the sex hormones change throughout each month. The hormones cause an egg to be released from the ovaries (ovulation) and prepare the lining of the womb for a possible pregnancy. At the end of each cycle, if the egg has not been fertilised the levels of the hormones fall, causing the womb lining to be shed as a monthly period.
Norplant - Norplant-72 (Generic) , Norplant is an effective, long-acting, reversible contraceptive for women that protects for up to five years. Six thin, flexible capsules made of a soft, rubberlike material, filled with a synthetic progestin, are inserted just under the skin of a woman's upper arm in a minor surgical procedure. The implants do not contain estrogen. Protection is generally provided within 24 hours after the insertion, and the woman rapidly returns to her normal fertility when the implants are removed. The most common side effect is change in menstrual bleeding patterns.
Ovral - Ovral® , Lo Ovral contains a combination of female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary). Lo Ovral also causes changes in your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.

Parlodel - Parlodel is used for: Treating Parkinson disease, certain conditions caused by too much prolactin in the blood (eg, excessive or abnormal breast milk production), certain menstrual problems, or abnormally large growth of certain body parts (acromegaly). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Parlodel is a dopamine agonist. It works by blocking the release of prolactin from the pituitary gland and lowering growth hormone levels (in patients with acromegaly). In Parkinson disease, Parlodel works by stimulating dopamine receptors in certain parts of the brain.
Ponstel - Ponstel (Generic), Ponstel is a prescription medication, used to help relieve mild to moderate pain associated with many conditions. Ponstel helps to relieve pain in the muscles and bones, as well as the pain associated with soft tissue injuries and inflammation. In addition, it can help decrease menstrual cramps and is indicated for primary dysmenorrhea. Ponstel is approved for use in patients 14 years of age and older, and is classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication.1
Premarin - Premarin (Generic), Premarin is a mixture of estrogen hormones used to treat symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, and vaginal dryness, burning, and irritation. Other uses include prevention of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, and replacement of estrogen in women with ovarian failure or other conditions that cause a lack of natural estrogen in the body. Premarin is sometimes used as part of cancer treatment in women and men.

Premarin should not be used to prevent heart disease or dementia, because this medication may actually increase your risk of developing these conditions.
Progesterone (one of Prometrium’s main ingredients) is a well known female sex hormone that is vital in the regulation of menstruation and ovulation. A treatment with Prometrium is known to cause menstrual periods in pre-menopausal female patients who lack their monthly periods because of a lack of this sex hormone. This product is a medicine that can also be prescribed in the effectively preventing the uterus lining from overgrowing (especially in the case of postmenopausal female patients who undergo an estrogen replacement treatment).
Provera - Provera is derived from the female hormone progesterone. You may be given Provera if your menstrual periods have stopped or a female hormone imbalance is causing your uterus to bleed abnormally. Provera is also prescribed to prevent abnormal growth of the uterine lining in women taking estrogen replacement therapy.
Other forms of medroxyprogesterone, such as Depo-Provera, are used as a contraceptive injection and prescribed in the treatment of endometrial cancer.
